My Story
Behind the Words
Growing up, I was always able to express myself most through my writing. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, I moved to Pennsylvania at the age of 10 back in 2007. My love for reading and writing developed at the age of 6 when I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. Reading and writing are some of the many things I love to do, and because of this love for reading and writing, I published My first poetry book, Soul Searching, in August of 2018. Recently I self-published my second poetry book, Losing Focus in 2020. It wasn’t until 2018 that I finally listened to my inner voice and challenged myself to become a self-published writer. Thank goodness I did. These days, I’m fortunate to have translated this ability into a successful start into my dream job.
